Bio

Maxime specializes in strategic communications, public affairs, and issues management in complex, high-visibility environments. Based in Montreal, Maxime advises senior leaders through periods of transformation, with expertise spanning government relations, corporate affairs, media strategy and stakeholder engagement. 

With nearly 10 years of experience across agency consulting and political communications, Maxime is recognized for building integrated communications strategies that align political, media, and organizational realities. Prior to his government experience, Maxime spent more than four years at an international public relations agency advising major clients on corporate communications, crisis management, executive positioning, public participation, and socio-political risk analysis. He has supported organizations across the infrastructure, transportation, financial services, technology, retail, and public sectors, with experience advising leading Canadian and international organizations operating in highly regulated environments. 

Before joining Crestview Strategy, Maxime served as Director of Communications for the President of the Québec Treasury Board, where he led communications tied to the management of more than $130 billion in annual public expenditures. He also served as Director of Communications for Québec’s Minister of Public Safety, overseeing crisis communications during major public safety events and managing high-stakes issues requiring close coordination with government partners, law enforcement, and key institutional stakeholders. 

He holds a Bachelor of Communication Science from the Université de Montréal and has completed additional certifications in public participation and emergency management systems. Outside of work, he supported and was board member of a Québec-based LGBTQ organization.
