James Cabangon is a seasoned government relations and communications professional with extensive experience across Canada’s political, public, and private sectors. Known for his ability to navigate complex policy environments, he delivers strategic solutions that advance client objectives and strengthen stakeholder relationships.
James began his career at the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia before joining the Premier’s Office, where he supported senior leadership and managed key information flows within the executive branch. These roles provided him with a deep understanding of government decision-making and refined his ability to translate policy into action.
At TransLink, James managed communications for more than $1 billion in capital projects, ensuring transparency and engagement on major provincial and federal infrastructure initiatives across Metro Vancouver. He later advised leading real estate and development clients, helping them build strong relationships with all levels of government and secure project approvals.
James is also active in civic life, having worked on political campaigns at the municipal, provincial, and federal levels. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of British Columbia.
