Crestview Strategy is a global public affairs agency advising leading organizations on complex, high-stakes issues. With teams across Canada, the UK, the Gulf, and Australia, we help clients navigate reputation, policy, stakeholder engagement, and business-critical challenges in fast-moving environments.
As our Australia business continues to grow, we are looking for a Senior Consultant to assist with business operations and client work and play a central role in how the business runs, scales, and serves clients.
This is a unique opportunity for someone who combines operational discipline, commercial instinct, and strong client-service judgment. You will work at the center of the Australia business, partnering with senior leaders to strengthen day-to-day operations, improve resourcing and performance processes, and support business growth. At the same time, you will remain close to the work through billable client support, proposal development, and business development activity.
If you are energized by building structure in a fast-paced environment, enjoy working across teams, and want to contribute to a growing international firm, we would love to hear from you.
Reporting to the Chief Business Officer, with a dotted-line relationship to the Global Operations & Solutions Lead, this role works closely with Australia business leaders while staying connected to Crestview’s global operations function.
This is a hybrid operations and client-facing role. Approximately 20% of the role (subject to business needs) will be dedicated to billable client work, proposal support, business development, and other client-facing activity. That mix is intentional: we want this role to help shape how the business operates while staying grounded in the realities of client service and growth.
What You’ll Do
Lead and Scale Business Operations
- Partner with the Chief Business Officer, Global Operations & Solutions Lead, and Australia business leaders to support the day-to-day operational needs of the Australia business unit.
- Coordinate and oversee key operational functions, including facilities management, vendor relationships, administrative support, contract administration, IT coordination, compliance activities, and selected marketing support.
- Drive operational excellence by improving processes, reducing administrative burden on senior leaders, and strengthening the overall effectiveness of the Australia business.
- Support reporting, workflows, and business management through Microsoft 365 and Zoho applications, including CRM, Projects, and Expenses.
Drive Resourcing, Performance and Team Priorities
- Lead resourcing activities across the Australia business unit, including staffing client engagements, monitoring utilization and team capacity, and supporting leadership in making informed resource allocation decisions that balance client delivery and profitability.
- Administer and coordinate performance management processes, including PEAP administration, performance tracking, documentation, and support for performance improvement plans in partnership with business leaders and the Talent team.
- Monitor operational metrics including utilization, hours tracking compliance, CRM data integrity, project administration, and adherence to business processes.
Support Client Delivery and Growth
- Contribute directly to client delivery through billable consulting, project management, client service support, proposal development, account management support, and business development activities.
- Maintain a strong understanding of client needs and business operations by remaining actively engaged in client-facing work.
- Support business growth by contributing to operational initiatives that improve profitability, efficiency, and overall service delivery.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience working within a professional services, consulting, or agency environment, with a strong understanding of client service operations.
- Demonstrated experience managing or supporting resourcing, utilization, business operations, and performance management in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable balancing internal operational priorities with external client-facing responsibilities.
- Strong organizational, project management, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across leadership, operations, and client teams.
- Experience using business systems and workflows, ideally including Microsoft 365 and CRM/project management platforms such as Zoho.
- Commercial mindset with the ability to identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, support profitability, and enable business growth.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
