Role Description
We are Crestview Strategy, a leading multinational public affairs agency with teams across Canada, the United Kingdom, the Gulf and Australia. We work with some of the world’s most prominent organizations on complex, high-impact government relations and communications mandates.
In this role, you’ll responsible for running end to end billing cycles, performing reconciliations, analyzing and or monitoring cash collection vs third-party pass-through vendor payables. This is a high-volume role in which the management of client and sales expectation is a critical deliverable. This person will also be responsible for managing and having complete ownership of Client billing cycle for our business. This role reports to the Director of Finance.
Key Responsibilities
Client Billing
- Collaborate with the Director of Finance to maintain client accounting goals and general billing performance levels is maintained.
- Ensuring all billing process and inquiries are handled quickly and efficiently
- Preparing invoices forwarding to appropriate contact or department as required
- Monitor and reviewing outstanding bills and following up with appropriate internal and external teams to ensure payment is made.
- Preparing various reports and spreadsheets related to billing and receivables
- Review invoices for potential errors and/or discrepancies. Investigate and resolve discrepancies.
- Post company sales to general and sub ledgers. Reconcile ledgers monthly.
- Review all credit balances, refunds, and adjustments, and apply adjustments and/or corrections to corporate records
- Form billing strategies to make timely invoicing and mitigate client and Consultants objections.
- Investigate receivable problems while following billing policies and procedures.
Analysis
- Reconcile:
- Customer accounts and sending invoice copies
- Revenue reconciliation and forecast
- Defer revenue and WIP accounts, including analysis
- Reconcile and manage:
- Sales incentives
- Third party passthrough costs and expenses
- Customer experience – assist with customer billing inquiries, collections and issuing statements
- Verify validity of account discrepancies by investigating information from consultants
- Resolve and assisting valid or authorized short payment and write offs by entering adjusted entries
- Assist with month/quarter/year end activities related to client accounting
Qualifications and Experience
- 1-2 years of experience of client billing job duties.
- High School degree, Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration preferred
- SAP or any large ERP experience preferred. (QBO + Zoho)
- Knowledge and use of ledgers, accounting practices, MS Office Suite, and other business intelligent software applications.
- Basic knowledge of economic and accounting principles and practices, the financial markets, banking and the analysis and reporting of financial data.
- Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, and other office procedures and terminology.

What you’ll do:
- Design, build and service public affairs and communications campaigns, with creative delivery and a can-do mindset
- Write and produce clear, compelling and insightful content for a variety of audiences, ranging from strategic communications plans, media and political analysis, client presentations, press releases, stakeholder briefings, messaging grids and social media content
- Lead or support on research projects, including polling, focus groups and desk research
- Conduct detailed analysis on research projects and external political, policy and regulatory developments to advise our clients on
- Develop strong and trusted advisory relationships with clients and add value to those relationships through smart and measurable outcomes to achieve client objectives
- Contribute to our growth by taking an active role in business development and marketing, from ideation to pitch delivery

Au poste de vice-présidence, vous aurez les principales responsabilités suivantes :
- Diriger l’élaboration et la mise en œuvre d’un plan d’affaires complet, aligné sur nos objectifs et nos valeurs
- Développer notre présence au Québec en identifiant et en saisissant de nouvelles opportunités dans la région
- Mobiliser les ressources nationales et internationales pour soutenir notre croissance stratégique et la qualité des services offerts à nos clients
- Établir et entretenir des relations solides avec nos clients, parties prenantes et partenaires
- Piloter les activités de développement des affaires, notamment la préparation de propositions et l’intégration de nouveaux clients
- Collaborer avec des collègues de toutes les régions pour offrir des solutions d’affaires publiques intégrées et à forte portée
- Contribuer activement à une culture fondée sur la collaboration, la responsabilisation et l’engagement
- Encadrer et mobiliser les membres de l’équipe pour bâtir une équipe performante, guidée par des valeurs communes

Qualités, expérience et compétences :
- Plus de 8 ans d’expérience dans la direction de mandats complexes en affaires publiques ou en relations gouvernementales
- Parfaitement bilingue : maîtrise parfaite du français et excellente connaissance de l’anglais, à l’écrit comme à l’oral
- Solide compréhension du contexte des affaires publiques et des relations gouvernementales, ainsi que de la manière de positionner et de mettre en valeur une proposition unique
- Savoir-faire politique, appuyé par une connaissance approfondie du paysage politique et économique du Québec
- Leadership engagé, à l’aise autant dans l’élaboration de stratégies, que dans l’exécution directe de mandats de grande qualité
- Esprit entrepreneurial, allié à de fortes aptitudes en développement des affaires et en réseautage, avec une capacité à bâtir de manière collaborative et à mener des négociations de façon proactive
- Talent reconnu pour la gestion des relations clients, la qualité du service offert et le repérage d’opportunités de croissance
- Expérience en soutien au développement des affaires, notamment en recherche, en rédaction de propositions et en planification stratégique
- Autonomie, rigueur et sens de l’initiative, dans le respect des échéanciers
