Bio

Emily provides senior counsel on integrated strategic communications for the private sector, non-profit, and industry association clients to influence perceptions and drive change amongst their most critical audiences. Emily has ten years of experience focusing on research, issues and crisis management, media strategy, and stakeholder relations.

Previously, Emily was a Senior Account Director at a marketing communications firm in Ottawa. She led strategic brand communications, digital advocacy, and awareness campaigns for health, finance, and telecommunications clients. She has also overseen major defense, transportation, and government communications files as Account Director at a global public relations agency. Alongside this, Emily led social and digital public diplomacy efforts at the U.S. Embassy in Canada.

Emily graduated with Magna Cum Laude Honours in History and a minor in English Literature from the University of Ottawa. Frequently on the Dean’s Honours List, Emily received her diploma in Public Relations from Algonquin College.
