The passion to create impact through strategy, storytelling, and content has guided Mainak’s journey as a strategic communications professional. His experience spans internal and external communications, employee engagement, and executive messaging. He has worked within enterprise technology organizations and consulted clients across banking and financial services, pharma, and learning/ed tech, developing integrated communication strategies that align with business objectives.
As a trusted advisor, Mainak partners with teams and clients to connect communications to larger business outcomes. He is adept at translating complex strategies into clear, compelling narratives that resonate with employees, media, multi-level stakeholders, and senior executives, while approaching every message with clarity and purpose.
He holds an MBA in Strategic Marketing from McMaster University’s DeGroote School of Business, a Post-Graduate Diploma in Public Relations and Corporate Communications from Xavier Institute of Communications, and a Bachelor of Media Science (Honours) from WBUT. While at McMaster, Mainak won the Litvak Gold Medal for Marketing. He was also recognized as the top PR and Corporate Communications student at XIC and earned a gold medal from WBUT during his undergraduate studies.
Mainak is also committed to advancing equity, diversity, and inclusion, having served as an executive committee member of the EDI Working Group at the DeGroote School of Business. A strong believer in the value of a growth mindset, he considers himself a lifelong learner.
