Heather Ritzer advises corporations, boards, and executive teams on complex communications, governance, and reputational challenges.
Based in Toronto, Heather specializes in capital markets, ESG and sustainability strategy, and high-stakes corporate issues across a range of industries and sectors including financial services, asset management, real estate, and professional services.
Clients often engage Heather during periods of heightened scrutiny, change, and evolving stakeholder expectations. She helps senior leaders navigate complex regulatory, governance, and market pressures, with particular expertise in sustainability disclosure, investor communications, and stakeholder engagement.
Before joining Crestview, Heather held senior leadership roles at several of the world’s largest global communications firms as well as in house at law firms. She has led teams supporting financial institutions, asset managers, pension funds, and regulators through complex transactions, periods of regulatory scrutiny, leadership transitions, and other high-stakes situations.
Heather holds a Master of Arts from Simon Fraser University and a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature and Philosophy from the University of Alberta. She has also contributed to public life through senior communications roles on provincial and federal election campaigns and board service with community organizations.
