Bio

Evan draws from more than a decade of experience in managing campaigns, media relations, communications, and direct advocacy and government relations work in the province of Alberta, in Ottawa, and across Canada. This experience is complimented with a Master’s in Communications and Technology from the University of Alberta.

Prior to joining Crestview Strategy Evan was as the Director of Communications for the United Conservative Party of Alberta and the Director of Communications for Alberta’s Wildrose party at the legislature. During his time in Alberta politics, he had a front row seat in the merger between Alberta’s Progressive Conservative Party and Alberta’s Wildrose Party in 2017.

Evan has direct experience in Canada’s natural resources sector, with work managing major mobilization campaigns across Canada for the Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers. He also a background in post-secondary with work at the University of Alberta’s Alberta Land Institute.
