Bio

Christine McMillan is a Partner based in Ottawa. Leveraging her experience to guide strategic engagement with key stakeholders, manage issues, and support risk mitigation, Christine advises clients on government relations and advocacy strategy.


Christine brings over two decades of expertise in public affairs, with extensive experience advising corporations, trade associations, and political leaders on government relations, stakeholder engagement, and issues management.


Christine has directed major campaigns, conventions, and leadership processes, including serving as Campaign Director for the Ontario Liberal Party in the 2022 election and Secretary-General for the 2020 Leadership Convention. She previously oversaw the 2013 Ontario Liberal leadership process that resulted in the election of Premier Kathleen Wynne and co-directed the Ontario Liberal war room in the successful 2007 provincial election.


Earlier in her career, Christine spent over a decade at Queen’s Park as a senior advisor to Premier Dalton McGuinty and other Cabinet Ministers. She joined the public affairs sector in 2007, building a reputation as a trusted strategist and advisor on high-stakes files.


Christine is also a fellow at the Clayton H. Riddell Graduate Program in Political Management at Carleton University, where she teaches graduate students in strategic communications.


She holds a degree from the University of Toronto and is currently working towards a master’s in law at Osgoode Hall Law School, York University.
