Jonathan Stringham is a proven strategic advisor specializing in capital markets and public policy across the energy, power utility and infrastructure sectors.
Jon translates complex regulatory, economic and stakeholder challenges into clear, actionable strategies for executives and boards. With more than seventeen years of experience, Jon advises clients navigating complex regulatory, fiscal and market environments, drawing on his deep expertise in financial modelling, commodity forecasting, and public policy research.
A collaborative consensus builder and experienced leader, he has shaped industry positions on climate, fiscal, and market policy, while leading multidisciplinary teams and advising on high-stakes transactions and long-term strategic initiatives.
Prior to joining Crestview, Jon was a senior management consultant at Wood Mackenzie, following earlier experience at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC). In these roles, he advised clients across domestic and international markets on a broad range of strategic advisory matters, including capital raises, debt restructuring, and organizational optimization initiatives.
He previously served on the executive leadership team at the Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers (CAPP), where he led Research, Data & Analytics and oversaw the development of sophisticated economic forecasting models widely utilized across the sector. Earlier in his career, Jon held roles in mergers and acquisitions and investor relations at Husky Energy Inc., supporting major transactions and strategic capital allocation decisions.
Jon is an Alberta native and a graduate of the University of Alberta. He holds a Master of Business Administration in Financial Mathematics, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in History, Economics, and Political Science.
Outside of his professional work, he is an avid skier, hiker, and fisherman who values time outdoors with family and friends. He remains a dedicated supporter of the Edmonton Oilers, despite the perennial heartbreak that often accompanies his loyalty.
