Bio

Dylan Adams is an early-career public affairs and government relations professional based in Canberra, with experience supporting policy development, stakeholder engagement and strategic communications across federal, state and community contexts.

Dylan’s understanding of effective government relations and strategic communications is grounded in hands-on experience supporting clients across the defence, veterans’ affairs, technology, health, education and energy sectors. Through this work, he has developed a strong understanding of the complexities organisations face when navigating government, policy and regulatory processes.

Previously, Dylan has worked in the parliamentary office of Senator Tony Sheldon, supporting disaster recovery and industrial relations portfolios, and in the electorate office of a NSW Parliament MLA, developing a practical understanding of parliamentary processes, government decision-making and constituent engagement.

Alongside his professional experience, Dylan has held leadership and representative roles within the ANU Students’ Association (ANUSA) and the National Union of Students, involving advocacy, campaign coordination and engagement with senior stakeholders across government, academia and civil society.

Dylan is currently studying International Relations and Arts (Political Science) at the Australian National University.
