Bio

Liam Bessell-Koprek is a Consultant at Crestview Strategy based in Sydney. He advises organisations on government relations, public affairs and strategic engagement, helping them understand political and regulatory developments, identify opportunities arising from public policy and government funding and engage effectively with government to navigate complex policy environments.

Prior to joining Crestview, Liam built experience across government relations, parliamentary engagement and political advocacy through roles in both industry and government. His experience includes supporting national advocacy campaigns, coordinating stakeholder engagement initiatives, monitoring legislative and regulatory developments, and contributing to policy and strategic communications.

Before joining Crestview, Liam worked in Government Relations at the Pharmacy Guild of Australia, contributing to advocacy campaigns, parliamentary engagement and stakeholder relations on national health policy issues. He also worked in a New South Wales parliamentary electorate office, where he gained firsthand experience of government decision-making, constituent engagement and the legislative process.

Liam holds a Bachelor of Political Science from the Australian National University. During his time at university, he served as State President of the National Union of Students, Australia’s peak representative body for higher education students. He has a strong interest in Australian public policy, politics and the relationship between government, business and regulation.
