Onsum Woo provides strategic counsel and valuable insights to help clients navigate complex political and policy landscapes. She develops strong public affairs strategies that advance client priorities and deliver results.

Onsum brings experience from government, non-profits, and research, combining policy and political expertise to help anticipate challenges, manage risk, and influence policy outcomes.

Before joining Crestview, Onsum advanced energy and electricity policies at Electricity Canada, contributing to key advocacy efforts. Through research projects at the University of Ottawa, she identified effective policy approaches to address racial inequities in universities and enhance veterans’ home care. Onsum has also supported national advocacy efforts at the Canadian Teachers’ Federation and held policy roles with Infrastructure Canada and Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada.

Onsum holds a Master of Political Management from Carleton University. She also holds an Honours Bachelor of Social Science in Public Administration and Economics from the University of Ottawa, where she was recognized on the Dean’s Honour List.
