Bio

Kirsten is a multidisciplinary executive and adviser with experience spanning government relations, law, governance, strategic communications, grants and integrated campaigning across Australia and New Zealand. Based in Sydney, she helps organisations navigate complex commercial, political and reputational challenges, bringing together the different capabilities required to deliver practical outcomes.

Having held executive-level positions in multinational FMCG, utilities and energy companies, Kirsten understands how major organisations operate from the inside. She has led internal and external communications and corporate affairs teams, overseen procurement functions and major commercial processes, advised senior executives and boards, and managed relationships with governments, regulators, employees, communities, suppliers and the media. Her procurement experience has also given her a practical understanding of capital investment, government grants and incentives, and the evidence organisations need to build a compelling case for government support.

At Crestview, Kirsten develops and executes integrated strategies drawing on government relations, research, strategic communications, digital campaigning, stakeholder mobilisation, grants advisory and creative content. She has led successful campaigns using Crestview’s digital tools and campaigning expertise to engage stakeholders, build support, influence decision-makers and advance client objectives.

Kirstenis a registered lobbyist, a qualified principal lawyer admitted to practise before the High Court of Australia and at the Bar in New Zealand, and a qualified company secretary. Before moving into executive and advisory roles, she practised corporate law at top-tier Australian firms and has served as an independent director on several boards.
